On the edge of Tahaa, otherwise known as Polynesia's "vanilla island", the hotel grounds include 11,000 m2 of land and command a spectacular view of Raiatea thanks to 240 m of beachfront overlooking the lagoon. It is a completely quiet and peaceful place, away from any neighbors. The island is known all over the world for the quality of its vanilla and agricultural products.
It is so easy to go between the 2 islands that the customers have the possibility to visit the 2 islands of RAIATEA and TAHAA without ever moving their luggage.
All the transfers to the airport are done without worries of schedule. We just leave the hotel 1 hour before the flight.
Our position on the lagoon gives us the possibility to get the best from the Alizés(nice winds coming from the North East and bringing good weather), and a panoramic view of the island of Raiatea.

The lodging:
Marina Iti has comfortable BUNGALOWS- rooms built in traditional Polynesian style. Some of them can handle 4 persons and 1 is the honeymoon suite for a total of 14 beds.
All of them have hot water, fans, terraces, and mosquito nets.
The freshness of the Alizés winds from March/April and through December is enough to cool the rooms that are oriented towards the lagoon.
* The first building is a restaurant kitchen and bar but also a front office. The hotel always had a good reputation because of the good food we could eat. All the cooking is made from local products, mainly fish or seafood or fresh vegetables.
* Over the years, the Marina Iti has offered all kinds of land activities like Jeep safaris, island tours, etc, and has also has rented cars, scooters, and bicycles from the hotel grounds... but its water activities are even better!

The Marina Iti's many water activities include:
* Single canoe tours of the lagoon and traditional double canoe tours with boat and engine, as well as spectacular sailing opportunities. The pleasures of sailing here are magical, thanks to the lagoon and it's protected waters. You can sail to white sand beach deserted Motus and just drop the anchor in some incredible spots with coral and millions of fishes...
The Marina Iti offers all kinds of boats to discover the lagoon and nearby beautiful motus. Bora bora is just an easy few hours sail away...
* Half and full day excursions with picnics on the motus, snorkeling, etc.
* The Scuba diving is excellent! Single and double tank dives for all levels are offered.
