SAFARI EXPEDITIONS ACROSS THE ISLAND OF TAHITI

     Come join local guide Patrick for an unforgettable day on the legendary tropical island of Tahiti.

    It's all about fun and fascination as we wind our custom 4 wheel drive vehicle over the mountainous road and trail system that runs straight through the center of the island.

 
     Tahiti is French Polynesia's largest island and has many one of a kind sights and Tahitian wonders along the way...

    We'll stop at hidden swimming holes, see ancient Maraes and archeological ruins and learn about their amazing history and background...

     As our day continues, we'll be crossing rivers, seeing waterfalls, and stopping at Lake Vaihiria, (French Polynesia's largest lake and home to Tahiti's legendary blue eyed sacred eels)

... We'll also picnic, stop and rest where we want to. This is YOUR day, and Patrick wants you to have a great time!

    Tahiti is a fascinating island to learn about and harbours many secrets and polynesian traits particular to only this island, the most famous and well known of the 5 French Polynesian archipelagoes.

     For example: Did you know Tahiti has over 400 different kinds of ferns? And how about the fact that the Papenoo Valley (which we will pass through) is where the original Hawaiians are believed to come from?

    Patricks knowledge of the history, culture, flora and fauna will leave you wanting to learn and see even more...
He speaks great English, and of course, perfect French.

    
    Don't worry about the wild pigs! They're friendly and always good for a laugh and an assortment of Tahitian pig jokes. (You'll be lucky to see them.)

    Of course if you miss anything (especially the pigs), you can always come back and do it again!
